Here’s what they won’t tell you on the TV news tonight…..
Once they’ve finished with the gloom and doom and disaster stories, they’ won’t tell you that the 3% of the population who’ve chosen to leave the corporate world and start a business – the Entrepreneurs – are in the best position to be financially strong through this downturn and recession.
Here’s something else they won’t tell you…..
The people who are frightened are the 97% of the population who don’t have control of their lives because they’re employees. There’s nothing wrong with being an employee but it means your livelihood is in the hands of the people employing you. Most employers haven’t got a clue, so that’s not encouraging. Furthermore, because employees are wage slaves, one of their only hopes to create some wealth is investing in the stock market. You don’t need me to point out the problem with that particular strategy right now.
However, as a business owners, as an Entrepreneur, you have the greatest gifts of all – FREEDOM and CONTROL. You are free to make the decisions. You get to control the flow of customers into your business and money into your bank account (assuming you understand the importance of Marketing)
Yes, there are challenges that this economy creates for Entrepreneurs – but the solutions are within your grasp – not your boss, not the government – You.
As long as you get that basic principle, the only thing that can be missing is access to the knowledge on how to thrive during an economic downturn".
